Editing and designing can be time-consuming and expensive. It takes time before you’re familiar with Adobe and the price isn't really start-up friendly. Let alone, outsourcing your designs and video editing. Why should you nowadays? When other solutions make more sense! We give you the best options if you like to tackle content creation on your own!

1. Later: Automating Instagram posts
Managing social media can be exhausting. Luckily, times have changed. These days we’re able to plan posts ahead, but still. You will undoubtedly recognize this situation; it’s late on the weekend or you're driving and there's your social media managing tool lighting up the screen of your phone. Almost screaming to you ‘Post this online, RIGHT NOW!’ But hey, guess what you don’t have time to do this right now. So, you keep reminding yourself ‘don’t forget to post, don’t forget to post...’ for the next five minutes and then boom you forget to post again!
Well, for once and for all, let’s put an end to this. Later is one of the rare free tools that have the ability to automate posting on Instagram. Little nuance, Instagram only allows videos and single photos (no carousels) to be published automatically. Find out how:
2. Canva: The only designing tool you'll need
I can't emphasize enough how much I love Canva. It's amazing how many things you can do on the free plan. It still surprises me every day. Canva is a really easy to use design tool that has a huge amount of templates to choose from. We use it for social media posts, flyers, invitations, business card designs, presentations, banners ... This platform is great if you don't have the budget for a designer and want to deal with the creative part of your company yourself.
There is also a paying version, Canva for business, which makes the platform truly unlimited, but you won’t need that (for now) since the free version is so comprehensive. Tip: if you type common or business-related words in the Canva search query, a lot of paying stickers and symbols will show up. Try to use a (less known) synonym! For example: if you are looking for a team illustration than search for people, do you get what I mean?
3. Wave.Video: The only video editing tool you'll need
If you're planning to post regularly videos on social media I would definitely recommend upgrading to a paid version of this tool (not an ad, just love this tool so much). As everybody knows videos provoke higher engagement than pictures.
The tool is user-friendly even if you have never edited videos before. You can create a template for your videos and use them over and over again. Easily edit the transition effects, add music and create wonderful marketing videos in just a few clicks.
